In 2002, the CJACLC organized a delegation of
California Japanese
American community leaders for an exchange trip to Japan that was
sponsored by the Japanese Foreign Ministry. Since then, the leadership
exchange program has grown to include delegates from several states,
and the program is now administered by the Japanese American National
Museum.
